Eva doesn’t remember anything. In the very beginning we though she was just pretending like she had memory loss, but now it seems she really can’t remember anything. They say she was brought from Millver from a hospital and that the school got a money transfer big enough to keep her there forever. She was named Eva here at the school since no one knew her real name. Eva already speaks a few languages fluently so its impossible to tell where she’s from. Surprisingly she is a good student and can learn by heart pretty long texts as if she can record them on a tape somewhere deep in her mind. So, how could she have forgotten everything? Strangely, she can remember the names of the people around her and their birthdays and other small details. We even experimented with her by playing Memory. We showed her cards and then flipped them over and she was able to find them and remember what they were. We also had a girl come in the room and leave after a minute. Eva could recall all the clothes the girl had on, the color of those clothes and even details like color and the order of the colors of the stripes on the girls socks. She could even recall the shape and color of the girl’s earings, the scratch on her knee and the number of hairpins she had in her hair. I’ve never met a person with such a perfect memory! But when we showed old movies — ones that every girl has seen before — or played music — or talked about literature, even didn’t react at all. Oh, and one more thing, she is very afraid of water… | ||||||||
