Dear Sirs,

I would like to enroll my daughter Lisa to Millwer-Oaks boarding school. Annual tuition fee is of no importance to me, although, as far as I know, it’s far beyond reasonable levels. I have heard some reports about this educational institution in our circle and, despite queer rumors, I should say I am impressed by the level of education your alumni obtain. My only heiress must have only the best. Lisa is well aware of what the future holds for her, so she will work hard. However, owing to her young age, she sometimes gets distracted from studying. So please see to it that she always has an adequate amount of work to do, and I demand that her individual program contain ancient languages, higher mathematics, and philosophy. I’m going to draw the list of other subjects during the term. I should also draw your attention to the fact that after the death of her mother and the beginning of serious systematic scientific studies Lisa grew somewhat aggressive and taciturn. Don’t let her go on with that. Several years will pass, and she will realize herself that it was necessary for her development into a stateswoman.
