Dear Sonya, please forgive us for this whole love letter thing. We didn’t mean to hurt you, really. We thought you would know it was a joke, and when you replied we gathered you were just joking back, that’s why we wrote another one. We are awfully sorry things got this way. Please don’t hate us. We’ve been so terribly mean to you because you seemed to get a swelling head over everything, and we decided to teach you a lesson. But after what you did we realized we were wrong. You are a nice person indeed. We promise we’ll never hurt you, ever. Only promise not to do such awful things any more, you gave us real fright.
